No buffet due to Covid restrictions, but a rich and varied menu and tasty offers elegantly presented. Being a nice summer, breakfast was served outside. A nice touch was also the printed temporary visiting cards. Chilled champagne and fruit welcomed us upon our arrival. Both suites we stayed in (the second being a kind upgrade in a wonderful maisonette overlooking Vienna’s rooftops) were princely and spotless, marble bathrooms and luxury decorations. It is located in a very convenient central area of Vienna, yet away from traffic in a sumptuous imperial residence. We have stayed at the Imperial Hotel twice and both times it was a wonderful experience. Overall, excellent and comfortable, great service. But I’m sure watching TV is not your main reason for travelling to Vienna. Here, they only have a very limited number of English language channels. I don’t watch TV at home, so hotels are the only opportunity for me to do so. There is maybe a tiny little detail they could work on. The location of the hotel is great too, it takes just a few pleasant minutes walking to get to all the museums, theaters a many great restaurants. I probably wouldn’t want to pay 41€ for breakfast if it weren’t included, but it really was very tasty. This allowed us to enjoy the huge and excellent brunches every day. We booked a family rate which included breakfast. The staff was even more pleasant than before, with excellent concierge and efficient and friendly reception staff. It seems that small things get repaired as we’ve had issues with shower last time and this time it was repaired (yes, we got the same room). Luxurious opulent rooms with textile wallpaper and glass chandeliers.
